Accion Labs is a global technology services firm headquartered just outside Pittsburgh, PA. To better accommodate their growing team and customer base, the company moved from their previous location in Upper St. Clair to a larger, 9,000 square-foot office space in Bridgeville, PA.

With their company at the forefront of an innovative industry, Accion Labs wanted to give their new space a modern feel while providing employees with an environment that inspired collaboration. From the initial design and sales process through delivery and installation, Office Furniture Warehouse helped Accion Labs develop the one of the coolest offices in Pittsburgh.

Solution

The team at Office Furniture Warehouse in Pittsburgh started this project by getting an understanding of the office relocation taking place as well as the wants and needs of the client. During this time, Accion Labs was also able to take advantage of our storefront and get a feel for the office furniture products, various manufacturers, and different price points at their disposal.

Our office design team then put together a layout plan that optimized the usage of the space Accion Labs had available. The final design centered around new office furniture from two major manufacturers that could give the office the desired contemporary look: Kimball & Office Source.

Maxon Emerge Workstations serve as the foundation of the open office plan with both high-wall and low-wall panel systems being implemented. These new cubicles and workstations allow employees to easily communicate and collaborate while still giving a certain level of privacy to those who need it. Private offices were outfitted with new desks and workstation components from the Office Source Elements Series while their conference rooms matched the same high-end style by utilizing Slope Series Conference Tables.

In addition to these traditional work areas, Accion Labs also needed furniture solutions for their Ping Pong room and kitchen / breakroom area. In both of these spaces we turned to the Kimball Dock and Kimball Poly Series which aim to match the fun and relaxed nature of these areas.

As a full-service Pittsburgh office furniture dealer, we not only handled the design and sales-side, but also the delivery and installation. Our in-house team allowed for a timely, seamless install process that best fit our client’s schedule and eliminated the need for an additional third party installer.
