CB&I Receives New Office Furniture in NYC Location

Chicago Bridge & Iron Company (CB&I) is a long-standing Office Furniture Warehouse client, and we’ve furnished several of their U.S. locations over the years. With over 50,000 employees worldwide, CB&I is a multinational conglomerate offering engineering, procurement and construction services – specialized in large projects for the oil and gas sector. Offering a wide range of services, CB&I emphasizes a strong commitment to safety while upholding the standard of quality they’re recognized for.

CB&I reached out to OFW when their office space in Manhattan was in need of a very modern, high-end look. With a relatively short timeframe to complete this project, our team put together a plan to get CB&I new office furniture in NYC.

Solution

When clients are seeking a contemporary look, Kimball Office is one of the go-to manufacturers we suggest (you can see some of their pieces in our own offices – view using our online tour). Our design team quickly assembled a plan for CB&I using new office furniture from Kimball mixed with some complimentary pieces from Cherryman. From new workstations to the conference room and lounge areas, OFW worked to optimize space and give CB&I the exact look they wanted.

CB&I’s offices in New York City have a primary area for office cubicles as well as private offices wrapping around the perimeter of the space. We outfitted the cubicle area with new Kimball Office workstations from the Xsite series, which provide a lot of design options from tiles to storage systems. CB&I’s Kimball Office Xsite workstations have frameless frosted glass on top, giving them a more open feel and letting more light into the space. The private offices were furnished using new Kimball workstations from the Priority series with a beautiful wood veneer – perfect for a modern, high-end look.

Even in a high-traffic area, delivery and installation of office furniture in NYC went smoothly.
